Being pioneers in advanced imagery, innovation is an integral part of our culture.
As a team, we are committed to constantly refining our technologies, looking to the future for ideas on how to meet tomorrow’s online imaging needs.
John Warner: Founder and Director of R&D
John founded the company in 2003. His background as an IT maverick, as well as a passion for innovation has led to SpinMe creating technologies that are now attracting global recognition. His knowledge and vision mean SpinMe's imaging workflow solutions are constantly evolving in line with new technologies.
David Brint: Chief Executive Officer
Retail industry expert David is SpinMe’s head honcho. He works hard building a dedicated, driven and pioneering team, creating a company culture that delivers excellent customer service and happy clients. Holding board level posts at high profile sports and fashion retailers during his 28-year career, David’s brand building and multi-channel commerce experience gives him unique insight into the needs of SpinMe’s customers. He’s successfully led the company into international waters, ensuring SpinMe is seen as the world leader in imaging innovation and workflow management. A passion for sport keeps this CEO busy in his time off.
Paul Beddis: Technical Director
Here since the beginning, Paul is the brilliant mind behind SpinMe's software. He now leads the development and support team. Paul and his colleagues’ collective pool of knowledge will answer any technical questions clients have about SpinMe's products and services. When not reading about new technologies, he likes to spend time exploring Netflix and practising his French.
Ian Yeates: Business Development Manager
A people’s person who loves building relationships, Ian has spent the past ten years in the sporting goods and outdoor industry working with the likes of Nike and Suunto in sales and retail brand marketing. He works with new and existing clients at SpinMe, solving challenges around ecommerce imaging and content needs. Ian is a sports nut, whether watching or playing. If he’s not in the gym or on his bike he’ll probably be watching Arsenal, which he considers the best football team in London. After all that exercise, and with a self-confessed big appetite, it’s lucky he enjoys making a mess in the kitchen.
Amber Davie: Sales and Marketing Assistant
A passion for people and a strong interest in marketing attracted Amber to her role at SpinMe. She’s responsible for shaping the company’s social media presence, plus overseeing regular blogs to help customers get the most out of their workflow and imagery software and studio setup. While studying Spanish and Italian at the University of Bath, Amber was lucky enough to live abroad in both countries for a year. In her spare time she loves running and going to Cheltenham’s bars and restaurants.
Scot Warner: Head of Technical Research
Scot is research and development boss at SpinMe. Before joining the company he spent years working in broadcast video, alongside all things technological. He regularly keeps up with the Kardashians.
Kane Turley: Client Services Manager
Kane has been with the company for three years, progressing from a technical installation and training role to managing client facing projects. His focus is all about workflow, integrating SpinMe Studio with existing systems, streamlining and automating processes and customising software behaviour to match the corporate culture of each client’s organisation. Kane enjoys Jack Daniels, lifting heavy things and proving that cheese can enhance any meal.
Luke Rickaby: Training and Technical Support Executive
Luke leads the technical support team and has been with the company since September 2015, providing front line support and training for clients. He studied multimedia games design at college and loves everything tech. Luke can often be found hidden away gaming, in the gym, exploring great eateries or scheduling new adventures with his Fiancée.
Margaret Cooper: Finance Manager
Margaret’s many years’ accounting experience and impressive industry qualifications means SpinMe’s bank account is in safe hands. She prepares all financial reports for the business. Outside of the office she does more than her bit to help others, having run, walked and danced many times for charities including Help 4 Heroes and Cancer Research.
Samantha Holder: Accounts Assistant
Samantha ably assists Margaret, keeping SpinMe’s accounts department running smoothly. She is currently studying for her AAT accounting qualification following a three-year career with the company. A music lover, Samantha spends her time going to gigs and makes the annual summer pilgrimage to Glastonbury, her favourite festival.
Jessica Flavin: Studio Operations Manager
A passion for art and flawless imagery has always been a focal point for Jessica. Having worked in the fashion photography industry for over seven years, she's directed, photographed and retouched for prestigious high-end brands and studios in London including Topshop and Selfridges. Jessica builds strong relationships with clients, never settling for less than the very best results in ecommerce photography. A serious lover of the environment, outdoor activities and a good wine bar, she is settling well into Cheltenham life.
Sean Smiles: Photographer
Sean specialises in ecommerce, commercial and advertising photography. With a career that spans analogue cameras in the late 1980s to today’s digital scene, he still practises principles from the early days and believes that if an image is taken correctly with the camera first off, it will save lots of time in post-production. His 360 spin and multi-row 3D imagery adventure with SpinMe has seen him shoot fashion models, jewellery, cycle wear and an F2 race car. In his quest for the perfect 360 image, Sean trains photographers and sets up studios around the world.
Edward Taylor: Senior Photographer
At the age of 16, Edd was handed a video camera at a family wedding and asked to film the band. Upon reviewing the footage, he established he’d somehow shot hundreds of stills. Over the moon with the terrible results he’d achieved, he found a love for photography. Edd has since graduated from Plymouth University with a first class honours degree, and helps SpinMe develop and provide innovative workflow solutions within a studio photography environment.
Sydney Tarrant: Photographer
Sydney is new to the SpinMe team but not to photography, having fine-tuned his skills at Norwich University of the Arts. Driven to provide the best outcome for each client, his earlier freelancing career means he knows the importance of creating a smooth workflow while efficiently overcoming any problems. When not standing behind a camera, Sydney is usually found behind a set of handlebars or socialising with friends.
Adam Wray: Developer
Adam is a skilled developer, and responsible for keeping SpinMe’s software in top shape. He can be found bug fixing, developing new features for the core application and increasingly working in programming languages only a chosen few can understand as SpinMe moves into cross platform development. He left London with his family four years ago to enjoy a slower pace of life. When not working, Adam helps out with the accounts at his local community-run shop.
Martin Cowley: Software Developer
Martin’s software development experience spans several decades and industries: retail, insurance, health, education and investment banking. He’s now happy to be back working in his home town of Cheltenham, and for the first time in photographic research and development. For both relaxation and excitement, Martin takes to the skies as a paraglider pilot, flying high above the mountains of Europe and the rolling green hills of England and Wales.
Matthew Tapper: Developer
Matt is a developer with nearly two decades experience producing software systems. After spending all of his career prior to joining SpinMe working on Government contracts, Matt is enjoying working for a rapidly moving company like SpinMe. When not coding Matt can normally be found hiking across the hills and mountains of the UK.
Liam Rushton: Technical Support
A key part of the technical support team, Liam offers guidance to clients and studio staff. His passion for IT from a young age means he enjoys solving complex problems and coming up with new ideas to improve infrastructure. Liam took part in various film projects following an earlier dalliance with the BFI Academy. He’s a big Doctor Who fan who re-watches far too many episodes, while he also enjoys gaming, regularly overclocking processors, graphics cards and memory.
Matthew Webb: Technical Support
Matt is a recent addition to the technical support team, where he ably assists clients and SpinMe staff. A fascination with science fiction in his early teens sparked Matt's interest in IT - since then he’s keenly kept up to date with technology trends and finds solving IT-related challenges gratifying. In his downtime, Matt loves watching a good movie, playing video games and going to rock concerts with his partner.
Millie Smith: Junior Photographer
Millie has been an avid photographer since childhood, shooting and re-touching her own images. She studied photography at college and brings a fresh take on creative techniques to SpinMe. Millie can nearly always be found assisting the studio team with client product shoots. Outside of the studio, she’s an aspiring Mary Berry.
